چکیده
Abstract This paper, on the basis of error modelling, proved optimal pocket machining sequences a simply end supported pocketed beam using mathematic induction method. The sequence with minimum floor height is from both ends to middle and not unique because symmetric supports about central plane; meanwhile, wall position fixed free unique. A Al7075 (744 mm in length, 172 width, 100 thickness ) 9 pockets was used demonstrate sequences. One pocketing (roughing), maximum distortion 0.693 appeared sides rather than middle, which were 0.477 0.388 mm, part growth produced 0.719 mm. On same part, further demonstrated finishing (with 1 dimension stock for all surfaces) errors fully removed. typical representative case results conclusion can be extended plate/board even surfacing.

Dynamic Stability Analysis of a Beam Excited by a Sequence of Moving Mass Particles
In this paper, the dynamic stability analysis of a simply supported beam carrying a sequence of moving masses is investigated. Many applications such as motion of vehicles or trains on bridges, cranes transporting loads along their span, fluid transfer pipe systems and the barrel of different weapons can be represented as a flexible beam carrying moving masses. The periodical traverse of masses...
متن کاملMulti-objective Optimization of Laser Beam Machining Process Parameters
Laser beam machining (LBM) is one of the most widely used thermal energy based non-contact type advance machining process. In recent years, researchers have explored a number of ways to improve the LBM process performance by analyzing different factors that affect the quality characteristics of LBM process such as kerf width, kerf taper, surface finish etc. It is revealed from the literature th...
متن کاملMaskless milling of diamond by a focused oxygen ion beam
Recent advances in focused ion beam technology have enabled high-resolution, maskless nanofabrication using light ions. Studies with light ions to date have, however, focused on milling of materials where sub-surface ion beam damage does not inhibit device performance. Here we report on maskless milling of single crystal diamond using a focused beam of oxygen ions. Material quality is assessed ...
متن کاملA Continuous Relaxation of Beam Search for End-to-end Training of Neural Sequence Models
Beam search is a desirable choice of test-time decoding algorithm for neural sequence models because it potentially avoids search errors made by simpler greedy methods. However, typical cross entropy training procedures for these models do not directly consider the behaviour of the final decoding method. As a result, for cross-entropy trained models, beam decoding can sometimes yield reduced te...
متن کاملIon-beam machining of millimeter scale optics.
An ion-beam microcontouring process is developed and implemented for figuring millimeter scale optics. Ion figuring is a noncontact machining technique in which a beam of high-energy ions is directed toward a target substrate to remove material in a predetermined and controlled fashion. Owing to this noncontact mode of material removal, problems associated with tool wear and edge effects, which...
